TAKE ACTION

Email Napthine, Hall and your MP

Click here to send a message directly to your local lower and upper house state MPs, copied to Premier Denis Napthine, Treasurer Wells and Skills Minister Hall. Tell them you won't stand for the destruction they're wreaking on our public TAFE system.

Once you've done that, there are plenty of other ways to speak up in the TAFE4All campaign. This campaign needs you! Please spread the word about this fight to your friends, family, colleagues, the guy who serves your coffee at your local, people you meet walking your dog... anyone you think might care about the right to affordable education.

Invite TAFE4All to your campus

TAFE4All campaigners can visit TAFE institutes across Victoria for a chat about how staff and students can stay engaged with the campaign.

Tell your story

Are you a TAFE or secondary student? A parent of one? A TAFE teacher? A career-changer? A former TAFE student who knows how important it is for those who need a leg-up into work? Tens of thousands of people are affected by these reforms and you all have stories to tell. Tell us yours - go to tafe4all/tellyourstory.html or email us at info@tafe4all.org.au.

Call talkback radio: it's simple and powerful

Calling your local talkback radio station - and telling them how disappointed you are with the State Government's decision to make TAFE unaffordable - is a simple way to voice your opinion and help stop the TAFE changes.

Click here for your local radio's phone number and some tips to help you make the call. It only takes a few minutes to have a big impact: let the community know that our government is putting TAFE out of reach for many Victorians.

Stick the TAFE fee hikes (to your bike or car)

Have you got a car or bike? Email Rachel for a 'Stop TAFE fee hikes' bumper sticker, and once you've stuck it take a photo (and get yourself in it if you can!). We'll post them here and on our Facebook page, sending the message that increasing the cost of TAFE is a change we will not accept.

The more people speak up in the TAFE4All campaign, the more the Baillieu Government will know there is real opposition out there to its reforms.
